So, friends let’s get started

Material required:

Things needed long loom or Rectangular loom, loom Hook, the yarn I’m using Red Heart Yarn in the below video.

I will show you the cast on and Rib Stitch and also Cast off Scarf

This is generally what we do. For any loom knitting project first, we’re going to make a slipknot.

Take a Working yarn (with which we are going to work) wrap around your fingers back over the front back over again and pull the working strand through the loop. here’s we will get our Slipknot put it on the first peg

How to Loom Knit Scarf Pattern:

Cast On:

Step 1: Wrap all the pegs around the pegs in crisscross (we basically doing a figure of eight the figure eight movement)

Step 2: After you’ve wrapped the loom once, push the loops down to the bottom of each peg. You will need to use your finger to hold the yarn in place as you push the loops down with your other hand. This prepares the loom for the next row of yarn.

Step 3: After you have wrapped the loom the first time, you will repeat the pattern by wrapping a second time. Take a careful look at the path of the yarn in row 1. Trace the yarn back across the loom following exactly the same path. The second wrap should look identical to the first one When you’ve finished wrapping row 2, hold the yarn in place and prepare to knit off in the next step.

Step 4: Knitting off is the term given to lifting the bottom loop of yarn up and over the top loop. It is released off the peg and toward the inside of the loom. This creates the knit. Knit off on all pegs using the hook that came with the loom. When finished, we will have only one loop of yarn remaining on each peg.

Step 5: When we finished knitting off the first row of knitting. Wrap the loom again and knit off. Repeat step 3 and step 4 until the scarf reaches the desired length.

Cast Off

Step 6: The last step to loom knitting a scarf is to remove the knit from the loom. Begin on the end of the loom remove one side loops and place them on the other side peg and knit all the pegs and next

Step 7: knit the first 2 pegs and move second peg loop to first peg knit off and move to the empty peg

Step 8: Repeat Step 7 until you reach the last peg on the last peg knit it last time pull the yarn of the peg and cut a tail and sew the ends in to secure the scarf
